This season eyes take center stage. With everyone covering up for winter it is up to our make-up if we want to make a fashion statement. Fashion Limbo was wondering about this when we received a package from Armani Belgium inviting us to try their latest collection of eye shadows, the Manta Ray duo palette.
We love duo colours, they are fun, easy to combine and blend, and the palette Armani's Manta Ray covers is truly dreamy. We got to test Charcoal/Greige and Pale Lilac Grey/Luminous Fuchsia. We couldn't be more excited when we received the latter, as purple eye shadows are one of this season's hottest looks. We have always worn purple, but this winter we are going wild with it, creating some really fantasy-inspired looks with the help of a purple eye-liner.
The Charcoal/Greige is featured in the picture above, and it's the star of the collection. Use this tone to create a velvety and stunning smoky eye effect. Remember how we gave you some tips on how to perfect this look? These colours would work amazingly.

The verdict? The colours are soft, velvety and easy to blend. They last a lot, so you can count on the smoky eyes Greige look to last you all the way through an evening/night out. Our hearts were stolen by the purple/lilac duo. All in all, the Manta Ray collection is rich in colour and extremely elegant, easily suiting many skin tones.
