“I have an irrational fear of wasting a good outfit on an insignificant day.”
This quote above is an oldie but very much a goodie that still makes me utter "Amen to that" underneath my breath every time I stumble across it. Despite having probably more than enough clothes to dress an entire small country, I loathe when a perfectly great outfit is wasted on a day with no irrelevance or is not worth mentioning without giving a heavy eye roll.

It's like dressing up and putting on your best look hoping to bump into that tall dark haired beauty in the glasses with the briefcase that goes to the same Starbucks as you every morning while on your way to work. You just keep hoping they would just notice you… just for a second as you bat your lashes while you stand coyly but nervously with your Balenciaga weekender clutched in your sweaty palms as you try to keep cool and refrain from blushing bright Valentino red in the face…

I've never done that before. I swear. I don't even like Starbucks. Uh huh. Yup. Sure….*heavy sigh*

With that said, if "I didn't see anybody important today, I'll wear these same clothes tomorrow". A major fashion sacrilege it may be but no good outfit should ever go unnoticed.
