Wellness Wednesday: Avocado Chocolate Mousse

You may have seen us making these Avocado Chocolate Mousse treats on Better Homes and Gardens. They are easy, nutritious and the kids (and adults) will love them!

In a food processor place; 6 Ripe Avocados's 4 Medjool Dates 1 tsp of Mesquite Powder (optional) 1 tablespoon of extra virgin coconut oil 1 vanilla bean (using the inside you scrape out) or 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract 1 Tablespoon of Cacao Powder Pinch of sea salt Blend all of the ingredients in the food processor until you have a smooth consistency.
*these are quite rich so a little goes a long way *I always use raw & organic ingredients for optimal nutrition, usually found at your local health food shop or Farmers market.
Mix it up by adding different flavours from pure edible essential oils like orange, hazelnut or peppermint. Available from Doterra.
Try it as a dip, spread or even as a cake with a date and almond crust!
