2008 Archibald Prize winner, Del Kathryn Barton caught my eye for her whimsical pieces but mostly her award winning 'You are what is most beautiful about me.' Just the title gave me that beautiful warm loving feeling between mother and child and when you look deeper you can see her connection with her own children in the self portrait. I love her work! I can associate with her passion for family. Barton said "I feel like I'm revealing something of myself and the two people in the world I care about most," she said. "It's not something I would ever show in a commercial context."
