$20 worth of goodness
So I've recently rediscovered a nearby thrift store... I went a couple of times this summer but hadn't gone back as they always overpriced their items. They seem to be under new management as I stopped by two weeks ago and managed to pick up a pile of things for only $20. The items would have cost more individually but the cashier was gracious enough to name a lower price for everything! Since my favorite Salvation Army has been rather picked over lately (not to mention it's pretty far from my apartment) I'll be stopping by this thrift much more often in the future.

A little aqua bottle to add to my blue glass collection and a '70s Made in Japan mug with two handles. Fortunately I found two of these!

Two old pie tins that I'm going to clean up and hang on one of my kitchen walls. They will go nicely with some other tins I picked up at an estate sale a few weeks ago. Also pictured is a little chippy green-handled melon baller that will be added to my other red & green handled kitchen utensils.

A pair of prescription sunglasses and a pair of thick framed reading glasses. They're both quite heavy and marked USA, I believe they're from the early to mid 1960s.

Two clutches, the one on the left is made out of a shiny silver fabric embroidered with pink and blue flowers.

Jeweled handle of a kisslock red handbag.

I can't seem to get enough of tapestry bags lately... I luckily found this one in excellent condition, it has a brown 'leather' interior.

A slate blue wool hat (it looks old but it's Made in China so it must be newer) and a little pair of navy blue gloves. Also pictured is a little silver pocket watch that doesn't work.
