Boot Strappin'
It's old news that the one must-have item of the fall/winter is a pair of flat black leather boots. I'd been on a quest to find the perfect boots for a long time, when last year I finally discovered a pair from Chinese Laundry that were sent directly from heaven. Unfortunately, they were sold out online and the only ones I could find in-store were a size too small. Luckily though, CL brought 'em back this year! They added a small wedge to this season's version, but that's a small price to pay for their overall beauty. The reason I mention them here, specifically, is because we all know that it's hard to find boots that fit larger calves. I can't say these will fit everyone, but they do have an elastic panel behind the knee which means they definitely work for a larger range of sizes. I can't squeeze my legs into most knee-high boots, but these ones leave plenty of extra room, even with pants tucked in! An added bonus is that you can leave them high or fold 'em down if that's more your style. All I know is, I haven't had them for long and they have already become a wardrobe staple. (That's an understatement. I literally only take them off to shower and sleep).
