Runways of 2009 have seen scores of Origami inspired details in their collections. We couldn't wait to recreate some of the fascination ourselves :)
We designed this dress for a family wedding on New Year's Eve. Keeping with the Indian wedding theme, brocade was incorporated into the folds of this otherwise contemporary 'sculpture' ;) We plan on wearing it as a traditional salwar kameez. What do you thinks it needs to finish off in true shaadi/wedding style?Inspiration for this dress was provided by this beautiful leather origami folded rose by Maiden Art. Love the coming together of powerful leather and delicate origami.
