The baroque on the velvet is to die for!Anamika Khanna (for Delhi Couture Week 2010) made you sit up and take notice of the minimalist contemporary play the garments showed with Indian crafts and silhouettes. The sheerness of all the net, tulles and laces was like one hand on the opacity control knob which, on the other hand, were weighed down by sturdy borders. Crazy (for the lack of a better word) jewellery by Raj Mahtani gave the couture garments a steely edge that I have come to love about this show! :)
