I loved the intense colour palette which looked like the whole spectrum of sparkling fireworks to me. For those of you who have been here before, you already know how much I enjoy when my favourite handful of (genius) designers turn cadaverous and otherwise repellent sights or thoughts into hauntingly beautiful prints making you question the nature of suffering more seriously each time.

The digital prints in the collection, having been inspired by The Bhagavad Gita, had battlefields with skulls and carcasses and emperors turned monks walking among the angiushed dark remains. If that was too ghoulish for you there were also pretty little lily pads floating among stars in far off cosmic galaxies. Put together, the overall aesthetic looked a Helmut Lang cosmic wonder meets Alexander McQueen skeletal mystery worked into simple structured garments. In short, I'm in love. :)Prashant Verma SS 2011Prashant Verma SS 2011Prashant Verma SS 2011Prashant Verma SS 2011Trends To Wear: It's time to embrace digital prints in deep and intense colours, think colours of passion.
