Bag a Bargain on Boxing Day

Up and out of bed, resting that Christmas hangover and full stomach, you stumble to the bathroom to take a shower. Suddenly you remember that today just may be the shopaholic's favourite day of the year. This wakes you up, better than an double shot coffee ever could and you are ready, and out the door, in ten minutes flat. Boxing Day is the start of the biggest summer sales of every year. Stores are keen to get rid of all the product they didn't sell over the Christmas sales, to prepare the store for the new year's stock. Pieces go as low as cost price, and in some places, even lower. So where do you get these bargains? I can't tell you exactly where they will be this year, but I'm assuming the stores who ran crazy on this day last year will do it again. Oh, and some stores have given me a sneak peak of their Boxing Day sales, so I've made sure to let you in on those.

My Top Five Boxing Day Sales of 2009

Diva Jewelers
from $2 a piece, half the store was decked out in red sale ticketed items

Dotti
Managed to get three completely new outfits for a total under $100!

Myer
We all love a Myer sale, and Boxing Day is their biggest

Ice Design
Dresses are ridiculously inexpensive, I would definately buy in bulk

Typo
For all your stationery needs, pick up a bargain at TypoIf you're heading up to Westfield Chermside or Queen Street Mall, I would highly recommend you check out Dissh, Forever New and City Beach. Chermside also has Factorie, and for the boys, nothing beats a Tarocash sale. There's also big sales happening at Cotton On and their sister stores Cotton On Body & Rubi Shoes. I'd suggest having a look at Ally, at Carindale, Queen St & Chermside. Not to mention the Direct Factory Outlets out at the Airport and Jindalee, will be rotating new stock starting today.

Good luck girls!
