There once was a designer, she sewed and sewed all night and paid her bills another way all day. Her vision was for her designs to be showcased worldwide, her name becoming a synonym for success. She sold her clothes via the internet, and in little marketplaces throughout the land, until one day she put on a show, and suddenly all the citizens were obsessed with Evelyn.
Last night we watched as some of Brisbane's great creatives came together for a night, I will certainly not forget. Set at Fridays Riverside, the night featured a runway show dishing out pieces from bridal boutique Hilde Heim, emerging designers Undral and Sugoi, our favourite Fashion Democracy, Everything's the same and of course the organiser Lexi Wittke's own collection Evelyn Curtis. Looking forward to another one miss Evelyn.... perhaps a collaboration is on the cards.
