Last Wednesday Selby, Sarah & I took to the Ekka races in short cocktail dresses and headbands from our favourite designer Lace (available online at Fashion Democracy). Selby sported what my boyfriend described as "a mullet dress" (he has a different approach to fashion to me). The champagne was pouring, the music was bouncing and at one stage you could catch Selby and I screaming for a horse in a purple costume - or maybe that was his jockey - to win. To be honest, we weren't there for horses, but for the fashion and after scouting four other girls in very similar dresses to me it was time to be taken hostage by the Stereosonic dance club behind the racecourse for the final race of the day.
