Just when you start to get comfortable and think you know all there is to know about Mawi - how the collections are always dominated by hardcore industrial chic -  all chunky shapes, spikes, tubes and box chain links - she throws you a curve ball with an Heirloom collection. Gypsy Rani has to be my favourite collection yet. Tusks, pearls, intricate enamels, victorian cameo charms and the rich vibrant semi-precious stones are inspired by Mawi's Indian heritage and the Princess Rani. 

For the Heirloom collection, Mawi draws inspiration from estate jewels, family heirlooms, royal and historical influences.  Despite the deviance towards Heirloom, you can still spot signature Mawi in the occasional use of gold plated skulls to give a sinister spin to what otherwise seems to be a classic, colourful, objet d'art collection. 
I could spend an entire lifetime in just Mawi creations and nothing else and still not be missing out on a thing! :) PS.
