Though Anne Hathaway has shown us all of these characters, she has also showed us great compassion in her personal life, as she has worked with charities pushing issues such as "The Human Rights Campaign". She has also taken on the role as being an ambassador for Depression, after speaking openly about her own experiences in 2007 and her struggle with giving up smoking.
