Took a short trip over the long weekend with my new Diana Mini. We've been so pressed for time and we're only on our second roll but we can't wait to show you pics from the first roll! 

About the photoshop monkey business - I'm always paying keen attention to the prints shown each season and while there are loads of patterns to go around —from lovely florals (stunning at Erdem, abstract at Costume National) to ikat for ages (see Gucci and Marc Jacobs)— we're most intrigued by the futuristic digital styles as evidenced by our love for Prashant Verma in some previous posts. So while we were looking at Carven Resort 2012, we decided to recreate the look on ROC, digitally, a girl can dream right?

While Guillaume Henry of Carven took inspiration from the Alpine landscapes of Bavaria and Switzerland, and made soft short dresses in prints of the picturesque Swiss mountain ranges, we turned to the ever growing Lomo community and with a lil help from Lomo Amigos Tim Slessor, Sergiparra, Auspices and Littℓe Ʀomα we were able to build our own 'digital' printed dress with lomo photos of scenic spots that we didn't visit over the weekend :P Fashion Bloggers India  - Republic Of Chic is a thrilling visual essay on fashion from India and around the world and occasionally, our daily personal style.
