I recently shot an ambush street style video for Essence Magazine & Nissan Altima in NYC. I had one of those "I have nothing to wear" meltdowns the night before we shot, so I ran to the Forever21 in Times Square and literally bought a top, skinny jeans, jewelry and shoes for the next day. The makeup artist convinced me to go out of my comfort zone a bit with a sleek ponytail (with extensions of course) and I ended up loving it! Photo Credit: Dario Calmese
