Cocktail Hour at The Vintage Bazaar
photobooth_findsFebruary in Chicago generally can be a chilly, gloomy month, fortunately The Vintage Bazaar popped back up last weekend with a special cocktail shopping soiree event to help liven up the winter scene. Friday the 15th marked the third anniversary of The Vintage Bazaar, they were back in the space where it all began, the Dank Haus German Cultural Center in Lincoln Square. The curated market featured 25 vendors selling clothing, home decor, jewelry and furniture. I attended the evening kickoff event that included cocktails by Scofflaw, tacos by Big Star and photos by Smilebooth.

I'm posing above with my friend Kaitlin, we're both showing off our finds from the market.vintage_catsFortunately all the vendors were familiar faces, Linda of Morning Glory Collectibles must know that vintage cats are my Kryptonite! Look at those black ad white cat photos above and the cat knick knacks in the following photos.catslucite_shoesvintage_globestvb1A fun Modernist necklace (above) and rows of vintage Ferragamo shoes in the booth shared by Zzouzi Vintage and Lost & Find Vintage.vintage_ferragamosairplane_necklacesVintage and handmade jewelry from vintage components by Persnickety Vintage (above) and vendors Maranda of Persnickety and Niki of Bombshell Shocked (below).maranda_ntvb2Chad of First Born Vintage was crushing hard on this vintage varsity jacket form Midnorth Mercantile.tvbcookie_guncookbooksmousejeromeJerome of Apt528 playing Nintendo on a 1970s TV.apt528apt528_2Plants for sale in Apt528's booth had me dreaming of Spring.hothouse2Wonderful merhandising as usual in Hot House Market's booth.
