When Tiana arrived in Rome we didn't really have a plan. We knew we wanted to go to the only-relatively new ice bar we had seen review of online (and we totally went), we also knew we wanted to make our way to the Trevi fountain at some point (my third visit there). Other than these two things we just wanted to run around, see some sites and do some shopping, and oh did we do that like champions. From the colosseum, to the Spanish steps, to the mouth of truth, to the pantheon, to St Peter's square. We covered Rome on foot and when our feet could go no further we caught taxis back to our hotel to stay out of the heat and enjoy macaroons that I picked up from Laduree (heaven on earth).
