PIOL Dress
I was so excited to hear about PIOL, a relatively new company that offers custom made dresses. I was really intrigued by the basic concept--after answering a few questions about your hair, eye, and skin color, you're assigned a unique palette of four colors that they call your "color aura." From there, you can choose from five dress silhouettes (I chose 'tailored' and customized it with a skater skirt) and then you get to pick your fabric/print. I know some may think making an all white dress was kind of a boring choice, but since this was being made specially for me, I wanted something classic that I wouldn't get sick of after a few seasons. You should definitely check out their website, if for no other reasons than to find out what colors work well with your skin tone and to play with their designs--I had a blast trying different combinations.photo piol_zpsf9ed0e72.jpgphoto BdftFusCIAAHz8t_zps2ddde240.jpgI'll be honest, I was initially shocked at how expensive the dresses are, but once you remember that PIOL is making a one-of-a-kind piece in your exact measurements and using fine Italian and Japanese cotton and silk, the price is more understandable. And when my dress arrived and I put it on, it was even more apparent that it's worth it. I was blown away by the quality of fabric, and I'd never had anything made to measure. It's almost like I didn't know what I was missing out on...and now I want everything I own to fit this well (I'm definitely considering ordering a dress in black).photo gabipiolnew_zpsd0c0af79.jpgphoto duo_zps1a738588.jpgphoto afterlight-3_zps5e092b46.jpgphoto afterlight-7_zps76d71ea3.jpgDress-PIOL/Necklace-Bauble Bar/Watch-Express/Bag-B.
