Shoe Candy for Guys

The painful truth is out: summer is going through its final weeks. Soon we will have autumn shades invading our streets, leafs falling off trees, covering pavements in one golden colour. The only thing to beat the post-holiday blues (if you were lucky enough to have any) is to look at the upcoming trends and lust after warmer looks, layers and ... some great shoes.

One thing every guy should have - yes, my darlings, this is for the boys - is a good few pairs of trainers, why? Because they are extremely comfortable, easy to wear and now come in so many styles you can find the right pair for practically every occasion.

The ones pictured at the start of this post are by Steve Madden, very simple in the combination of colour, but quite clever in design. High tops are back this season and these ones provide a cool alternative to the Converse ones everyone will be wearing.

Speaking of Converse, how about these below? designed by Cody Hudson and part of the RED collection.

If you are a guy on a tight budget Pull & Bear always has a good range of trainers to suit plenty a style. We particularly liked the ones below in khaki. As economical as they are,the quality is not too bad and if taken care of they will last you more than one season.

And last but not least, the forever classic that is a pair of Adidas Vespa. A good friend of mine bought a pair last week and can't stop throwing compliments at these shoes. Nothing too exciting in terms of design but they are extremely easy to wear and are discreetly stylish.

So there you have it, the choice is huge. Who said shoe coveting is a women thing?
