NYC Style Spot + Inspiration
Even though it's the end of outdoor flea markets here in Chicago, Randolph Street continues to hold its markets indoors every month. They're having a special event this week, the Modern Vintage Jewelry & Clothing Explosion will be held this weekend in the West Loop Saturday and Sunday 10AM-6PM. Unlike the regular markets, Modern Vintage focuses exclusively on vintage and antique clothing, jewelry and accessories. There's menswear too!
Hope you enjoy virtually shopping through the September market, I've posted more photos of my outfit (and that wonderful bike!) at the end.Yes I would have definitely purchased the 1950s Siamese cat pastel drawing if I had a spare $125. Le sigh.Vintage Egyptian scarab made of painted ceramic-- it was only $10, was so tempted! In the shape booth was this cuff bracelet featuring a scarab. I love vintage Egyptian Revival jewelry so much.A miniature doll's bead stacked with tiny quilts.Dozens of vintage Kosta Boda snowball candle holders for sale, they remind me of blocks of ice.Vintage 1950s aluminum Christmas tree complete with color wheel.Adorable Mid Century chair and loveseat in teal! The vendor thought they were salesmen samples. In two different booths I saw the motorcycle trophy and the badge from the original motorcycle club.Jon Stigler's bathing beauties have a new pal, a Circus "strongman".Stacks of vintage Bakelite bangles.A pretty vintage autumn leaf brooch and pouncing jaguar brooch seen in the booth shared by Tangerine Vintage and Estate Chicago.OUTFIT DETAILS

I caught her mid-wave.Rows of gorgeous shoes for sale at Rose Vintage and her racks of clothing below.
