For those unaware Jarrod and I got engaged last month and I'm pretty over the moon about it. We've been in a little bit of a bubble since, seeing a few of our friends here or there, but predominately enjoying time alone together and embracing what the future holds. So on a rare warm summers day in Melbourne we rolled out a picnic blanket, spread out some home made treats (think rice cakes smothered in peanut butter & buckwheat pikelets with raspberry jam) and celebrated all things lovely with some of our closest friends at Albert Park Lake.
Our delicious gluten free hazelnut and orange cake was baked to perfection by Monarch Cakes and dressed with a pretty topper from the lovely ladies at Mollisons. We had hoola hoops, frisbees and bubble wands. Our guests all brought some goodies to add to the picnic spread and we chilled out by the lake for several hours before we were all a little sunburnt and ready for bed.
