Western Routes: Pirate
I have big plans for my Autumn wardrobe. Meaning this nymph/boho/pirate/neverland/70s vibe I have going on has just had a coffee and is ready to bounce off the walls. Flowing bell sleeves, more lace than you can poke a stick at, paisley and flower power, with way too many touches of denim and fringing. It feels a little Route 66, hence the name of this Autumn series.

I am really excited about Western Routes!

When styling the first glorious Autumn series for the blog, I knew it had to promote this weird mood board that has been developing in not only my head but also my soul. So I hit Instagram and surfed around for a little bit until I fell in love with a stunning crisp white blouse with everything I could ever want in a shirt. It's the perfect pirate piece! Arrr me hearties! Lace? Check. Bell Sleeves? Check. Fringing? Check. A little more surfing and this beauty was in transit to me.

Suddenly I had a piece to style around and the more and more I delved into my wardrobe I found that so many of the pieces I had picked up in Munich and Rome tied in perfectly, which only made the process all that more sweet. My focus this year is to only purchase fashion from Australia designers and the pieces I've managed to pick up so far are so dreamy. This top, skirt and boots were all designed in Australia and they're definitely being put on rotation this season.

So here is the first of a series of three to kickstart Autumn 2015.Photos Tillie Stevens
