On Saturday, with our minds full to the brim of travel inspiration and our hearts hungry for an adventure, This Guy and I hired a car with Go Get and made on our way to the shore of Bass Strait. First stop was the gorgeous Cape Schanck, before enjoying a brunch at Picknics Cafe in Rye and checking out the beach, before heading back to Melbourne.

There's something about just taking off for a weekend drive to a new place. Whilst we don't have our own car, we do enjoy getting out and about, with the windows down and some corny road trip music providing the soundtrack for a fabulous day out. Not having a car probably makes it all that much sweeter to be honest, because we don't have to deal with the car in weekday traffic.
