The Last Outdoor Randolph Street Market for the Season
randolph1Autumn in Chicago means saying goodbye to the outdoor flea markets for the season, last weekend I bid adieu to summer and sunny strolling through market stalls at The Randolph Street Market in the Fulton District. Held at the historic Plumbers Hall, Randolph is the longest running market in the city and features traditional antiques, vintage furniture and home decor, jewelry, clothing and handmade goods like soap and artisanal food items. Below you'll find a glimpse of what I saw at the market, it only represents a small portion of the vendors set up outside in the parking lot (there were also more booths set up in the Art Deco-era Hall).

Don't worry if you missed The Randolph Street Market last weekend, there's still three more indoor markets to round out the year along with other area vintage shopping events:

The Randolph Street Market, 1340 W Washington Blvd, Chicago, 60607
October 18th & 19th, November 22nd & 23rd and December 13th & 14th

Vintage Garage Chicago Flea Market, 5051 N Broadway, Chicago, 60640
October 19th, Featuring a collaboration with Chirp Radio and a record fair

American Vintage Market, 136 E 3rd St, Davenport, Iowa 52801.
October 25th and 26th, a new market in partnership with American Pickers' Danielle Colby. It will be held the same weekend as Colby's Iowa Burlesque Festival at the Adler Theatre.randolph2randolph3randolph4randolph5randolph6randolph7randolph8randolph9randolph10randolph11randolph12randolph13randolph14randolph15randolph16randolph17randolph18randolph19randolph20randolph21randolph22randolph23randolph24randolph25randolph26randolph27randolph28randolph29
