Photo: Freedom of Animals Nikki Reed and her husband Ian Somerhalder always inspire me. They're both very involved in spreading conscience about the environment and the wellbeing of animals. I follow them on instagram (they also are on Twitter and Facebook) and I always love to read their passionate messages for us. You can feel their sincere intention to make us understand how important and urgent is to change our habbits and above all, to care about our planet.
I love animals myself. It breaks my heart to watch the news and see all those beautiful creatures that are in danger or already death because our live style provoques contamination and destruction of their habitats. Ian and Nikki are always asking people to adopt puppies from the shelters, to stop buying non degradable products or to take the time to see the origin of the materials of our fashion or beauty items.
In the spirit of introducing more sustentable products to the fashion world, Nikki and Freedom of Animals made a partnership to design a collection of beautiful, sustainable, luxury and cruelty-free bags that I personally adore. They are made with eco-friendly high quality materials: fabrics that look and feel like leather but actually comes from Polyurethane (a percentage of it is recycled) and need 70% less energy to be produced, recycled vegetable-based colors and zippers made with recycled metals, just to mention some advantages.
I feel so happy to when this kind of iniciatives takes life. I remember Emma Watson doing something similar some years ago. Personally, I would gladly buy this bags and wear them in my everyday outfits and in my outfit posts. And they ceirtainly are in my wishlist!

Nikki a fait une ligne de sacs à main qui sont écologiques et de haute qualité pour démontrer qu'est possible de faire produits durables avec des matériaux recyclables. Aussi, les sac a mains sont fait avec Polyuréthane et ils se sent et apparaitre comme de cuir, mais sans cruauté contre des animaux.
