The land of generations past, the land of ancient tribes, the land that gives us everything we need but also needs our care in return. The land tells stories, tales of floods and droughts, harvest and new life.
Here in Australia there is one of the oldest cultures of all time. Our Aboriginal tribes have been around for thousands of years, surviving off the land and sharing creation stories for generations. One of my favourite stories of the Dreamtime comes from Arnhem Land. It is the tale of the Rainbow Serpent, who came up from below the ground, and as he moved he shaped mountain and gorges, created valleys and rivers. When I look at this dress from the perfectly named Australian brand "Arnhem" I see the colours of the rainbow, and I am reminded of this tale that has survived the test of time.
