As Summer begins the dance in the wind, and on the plains of this ancient land, we prepare for the heat, the salt and the storms to come. We prepare for balmy evenings filled with sangria and tapas, salsa and firey sunsets. We prepare to embrace the sun, and to let our skin deepen in colour. This latest project Dahlia celebrates summer, but not a summer on the sand by the beach, a summer on the land, in the golds of the countryside, where Australia shines under the sun and the rain, where storms howl over the landscape and women dance barefoot in the fields.
This first chapter showcases some of the beautiful prints of Spell & The Gypsy Collective, a longtime favourite Australian brand of mine. Spell embraces the femininity of its female customers, and seeks inspiration from places all around the world, including the very landscape many of us call our home. The land of Dahlia.
